Wonderfully 'Wicked: For Good' Celebration

We've got a mesmerizing event planned for the last of our Movies in the Park for 2026: It's the spellbinding sequel "Wicked: For Good"! We're excited to show the 2025 hit musical under the stars in City Park, 101 S. Buchanan, at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 19. 

We're once again planning to partner with some fantastic Edwardsville businesses to make it a delightfully wicked day from morning until the big event: the evening presentation of "Wicked: For Good." Stay tuned to this page for updates as the movie date approaches for all of the "Wicked" action!

Business Community Partners Sought

Businesses, are you interested in collaborating on this "Wonderfully 'Wicked' Celebration"? We'll include eligible businesses in our promotions for the movie showing, and ask that you share the event in whatever ways you can. It’s up to eligible businesses to decide if and how they’ll participate. The specific details for any "Wonderfully 'Wicked' Celebration" specials and promotions to be offered are up to each participating business. The event guidelines are pretty simple: 

  • The promotion is open to businesses located and operating within the corporate limits of the City of Edwardsville. 
  • Participating businesses should not feature goods or services they are legally prohibited from offering (liquor, for instance, if you don’t have the proper licensing). 
  • Participating businesses are asked to email us no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, September 10, to confirm that you will take part and to share any details. The sooner you reach out, the earlier we can include you in our online and media event promotions!
