Plummer Family Park is located on 83 acres at the eastern edge of Edwardsville near I-55 and Governors Parkway. This beautiful sports complex is home to a full variety of sports and activities including soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, flag football, field hockey, pickleball, and volleyball, along with a full complement of concession and restroom facilities.

The first phase of Plummer Family Park opened in 2020. A second phase of the park, launched in 2024, added four full-size baseball diamonds, six sand volleyball courts, 13 additional pickleball courts (including a championship court with space for seating for tournament play) and more. As of spring 2025, the park now offers:

New Plummer Park MapBaseball/Softball Quads

Home to eight lighted, full turf fields. These fields can host all levels of softball and baseball. Field D7 (home to the Madison County Challenger baseball program) is an all-abilities facility. Each quad features a centrally located full-service concession stand.  

Multi-Purpose Fields

Features three lighted all-weather synthetic multi-purpose fields and three natural grass fields. These six fields can accommodate a multitude of sports including soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, flag football and disc events.

Pickleball Courts

The park's 24 pickleball courts and one championship court offer ample opportunities to enjoy casual, open play or tournaments. Players can reserve a court or stop by during an open play period  (first come, first served).

Beach Volleyball Courts

Home to 6 NCAA and AVP regulation beach courts, featuring leagues for adults and youths. A "tiki hut" concession stand is adjacent to the courts.

Future Plans

Plummer Family Park is a dynamic sports complex offering plenty of amenities and new opportunities to play any number of sports!  The reception from the public has been enthusiastic and encouraging for future growth plans.
