The Children's Arts in the Park series provides a unique & vibrant arts experience for children on multiple Saturdays during the summer in City Park. For 2025, young artists will get to explore a variety of materials and techniques related to various story genres, thanks to the creative efforts of the Edwardsville Arts Center. The teachers are practicing artists and art educators.
Because the art classes are formatted to allow kids to work at their own pace, they are suitable for ages 4 to 10. However, If a parent wants to help their 3-year-old make art or if a 12-year-old wants to participate, they are welcome! (In the event, a scheduled session must be canceled, notices will be posted on the Facebook pages of the Edwardsville Arts Center and the Edwardsville Parks and Recreation Department.)
WHEN: 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturdays (as scheduled) in June and July
