Spooky Skate
Saturday, October 25 | 12:30-2 p.m. or 6-7:30 p.m.
For a SCARY good time, come enjoy the R.P. Lumber Center's Spooky Skate! This special event will include a costume contest, games, a photo opportunity, candy, and of course, skating. You will be sure to have a fab-boo-lous time!
- DETAILS: Admission for all adults is $10 a person and kids (17 and younger) are $15.

Halloween Party in the Park
Saturday, October 25
Community Candy Walk
10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Time to BOO-gie at this year's Halloween Party in the Park! Come trick-or-treat in City Park with local organizations and businesses, enjoy fun photo-ops and take part in other activities.

Edwardsville Halloween Costume Contest
Noon to 1:30: The City of Edwardsville is excited to bring back our annual Halloween Costume Contest! Show off your scariest, goofiest and most creative costumes across the City Park stage. The categories include: ages 0-3, ages 4-6, ages 7-9, ages 10-16, groups, and pets. First-, second- and third-place honors will be awarded that day in each category!
- DETAILS: Contest will begin at noon on Saturday, October 25. It is FREE to participate in the contest. Registration for the contest will open at 10 a.m. in front of the City Park bandstand and close at 11:30 a.m.
Trick-or-Treating
Downtown Trick-or-Treating
After the City Park fun ends, stroll down Main Street for more goodies! Many downtown businesses will be handing out treats, which also offers an opportunity to check out our terrific retailers, restaurants and other businesses.
- DETAILS: This will take place on Saturday, October 25, along Main Street and Vandalia Street between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m.
Community Trick-or-Treating
Neighborhoods in Edwardsville can welcome trick-or-treaters on Thursday, October 30, and Friday, October 31, from noon to 9 p.m. Historically the most popular time for neighborhood trick-or-treating in Edwardsville is on October 30 from 5-8 p.m. at residences with their porch lights on.
West End Service Station Speaker Series: Spooky Route 66
Join Luke Naliborski, an author, paranormal researcher and the lead tour guide for Alton Hauntings Tours, as he shares his experiences at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 30, at the West End Service Station, 620 St. Louis Street. This event is free to attend, but space is limited, so reserve a spot by emailing: cmatteson@riversandroutes.com.
Edwardsville/Glen Chamber of Commerce Halloween Parade
Join the community on Halloween night for the Edwardsville Halloween Parade! The Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce has hosted this frightfully fun community parade for more than 100 years. Enjoy the sights, sounds and candy as local organizations, businesses, bands and more march down Main Street.
